Former Youngstown State wide receiver Damoun Patterson was one of two undrafted rookie free agents signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers following the organizations recent Rookie Mini camp. The Steelers announced the roster moves on Monday.

A big play receiver for the Vince Williams Jersey  Guins throughout his career, Patterson caught 32 passes for 555 yards and four touchdowns starting all 11 games last season. He had 20 receptions for 484 yards and two touchdowns in 2016. He was a key contributor on special teams units, with 17 tackles over two seasons, including eight in 2017.

R.J. Prince, an offensive lineman from North Carolina, was the other player to sign with the Steelers on Monday following the tryout camp.

Rader Signs Undrafted Free Agent Contract With Packers; Two Others Set to Join NFL Mini Camps

Former Youngstown State tight end Kevin Rader has signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Green Bay Packers while wide receiver Damoun Patterson and offensive tackle Justin Spencer have been invited to attend NFL rookie mini camps.

Patterson will take part in the Pittsburgh Steelers mini camp while Spencer has been invited to attend the Indianapolis Colts camp.

Rader caught a career high 22 passes for 272 yards and two touchdowns https://www.steelerspitzone.com/lt-walton-jersey-c-87.html , averaging 11.1 yards per reception. He played in his final 38 games for the Penguins, starting 24 contests in his final two seasons.

Spencer started 50 straight games in his YSU career at various spots on the offensive line. He was a first team All MVFC selection as a senior after earning second team honors as a junior and honorable mention as a freshman.

Patterson played in 26 games during his two years with the program, starting 18 times. He had 32 receptions in 2017 for 555 yards and four touchdowns. He was also a force on special teams finishing with eight tackles.
